Then reinstall the heatsink/fan assembly, making sure to lock it down as was before removal & that the CPU fan wire if removed, is plugged back in. Check This Out

i put my laptop on top of a fan, and it is working like a clock.i still didn't reput the battery, but doubt that affects it.again, as a summary, i am After it copies the files to my hard drive and I restart, it goes through loading the drivers, then gets to that screen and the computer shuts down. I'm trying to install the Windows xp on my pre-installed Vista. My laptop came with vista home premium preinstalled. This advice was realy usefull. I tried so many things like taking off one of the rams or checking the harddisk or controlling the heat.
